Terms of Service

Last updated 16 September 2026

These terms cover your use of Nexet, including your account, your work, the collaborations you enter into, paid access, and the third-party services the platform connects to.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of Nexet. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Nexet.

2. Your account

You need an account to use the dens. You must be at least 13 years old, provide accurate information, and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens through your account.

3. Your work stays yours

You keep ownership of the work you create and upload. Nothing of yours is published, merged, or shared with another person until you choose to send it or accept a submission — the platform is built so that work in progress stays on your own desk.

We need a limited licence to operate the service: to store your work, transmit it to the collaborators you have chosen, and display it back to you. That licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies retained in backups or where the work has already been merged into a shared project with another collaborator's consent.

4. Collaborations and attribution

Answering someone's open call creates a private clone of their work. Submitting it sends it to the creator for review. The creator decides — accepting merges your contribution into their project and creates a shared project; rejecting leaves their original untouched.

Accepted contributions carry structural attribution: your name and role stay attached to the work. Do not attempt to remove or falsify another person's attribution.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.

6. Paid access, billing, and renewals

Some rooms require a monthly category pass, and some plans raise storage or project limits. Payments are handled by Whop on its own hosted checkout; we never handle your card details. Prices are shown in USD at checkout.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, and access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. If a payment is refunded or a dispute is opened, the associated entitlement is revoked; where a revocation would take an account below what is offered for free, the free tier applies instead.

Charges are exclusive of any taxes that apply in your jurisdiction.

7. Third-party services

Nexet integrates with third-party services, including Google and YouTube for channel linking, and Whop for payments. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms — for YouTube, the YouTube Terms of Service, and for Google, the Google Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for third-party services, and we may change or remove an integration at any time.

8. AI features

The Story Oracle and Role Oracle are advisory. They suggest; you decide. Output may be inaccurate or incomplete, and we make no warranty about it. AI never merges or submits work on your behalf.

9. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep Nexet available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Features may change, and rooms still on the blueprint are not yet available. We may suspend or discontinue any part of the platform, and where we discontinue a paid feature we will refund the unused portion of the affected period.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if your use puts the platform or other users at risk. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, and liability — will survive.

11. Disclaimers

Nexet is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content on it is accurate.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nexet will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to Nexet is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute — without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above, and we will notify you in the product if the changes are material. Continuing to use Nexet after a change means you accept the updated terms.
